WHAT YOU WILL NEED

HOW TO BOIL OUT YOUR HEWIGO FRYING RANGE:

Hewigo recommends that you should boil the pans out weekly.

  • Fill each pan with 30 litres of water along with the Ceres Deep Fryer Cleaner, set the thermostat knob to the lowest position and light the burners. Just before boiling over, switch off the burner and let it cool for approximately 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure with the other pans; In the meantime, you can clean the cooler pan with a heat resistant brush.
  • Be sure to use a heatproof plug to stop water from going into your filtration system.
  • Remove difficult pieces of carbon carefully with the scraper in the direction of the edge of the pan. Take care of your eyes – Wear eye protection.
  • If you are convinced the pans are clean, first make sure the burners are turned off.
  • Drain off the water with the buckets and rinse the pans 2 or 3 times with hot, clean water until there is no soap in the pans.
  • Dry the pans well with a super absorbent cloth or a microfibre cloth.
  • Tip: Don’t forget to close the drain taps!
