These festive drink recipes are one big cheat! We are using chocolate to give us the ultimate flavour and it means the list is endless as to the variations.

These recipes can all be scaled up to make larger amounts so why not make a batch and pop into a thermos and serve to customers.? It might be a good idea to save the alcoholic versions for yourself or maybe serve as a last shift before Christmas treat for your team.

Homemade Hot Chocolate

Whole Milk250g
Cocoa1 tbsp
Light Brown Sugar1 tsp
Dairy Milk50g
Whipped Creamas needed.
Mini Marshmallowsas needed.
Optional: Slug of Rum or Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur30ml
  • Heat the whole milk, cocoa, sugar and chocolate in a small pan over a medium heat until steaming and the chocolate has melted. Whisk to dissolve the cocoa.
  • Serve with whipped cream and mini marshmallows.
  • Assuming you are over 18, treat yourself to an added slug of rum or Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur, it has been a long year and you deserve it!

Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate

Cocoa1 tbsp
Light Brown Sugar1 tsp
Terry's Chocolate Orange50g
Whipped Creamas needed.
Optional: Cointreau Orange Liqueur30ml
  • Heat the whole milk, cocoa, sugar and Terry’s Chocolate Orange in a small pan over a medium heat until steaming and the chocolate has melted. Whisk to dissolve the cocoa.
  • Serve with whipped cream and some more Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
  • Assuming you are over 18, treat yourself by adding Cointreau Orange Liqueur.

Mint Chocolate Hot Chocolate

Mint Matchmakersas needed
Optional: Kendal Mint Cake Liqueur30ml
  • Heat the whole milk, cocoa, sugar and Mint Aero in a small pan over a medium heat until steaming and the chocolate has melted. Whisk to dissolve the cocoa.
  • Serve with whipped cream and Mint Matchmakers.
  • Assuming you are over 18, treat yourself by adding Kendal Mint Cake Liqueur.
