Homemade Mozzarella Croquettes are simple to prepare and make a wonderfully ooey-gooey side!
I’ve always loved the stretchiness of a mozzarella stick so I love seeing it here in these croquettes, which are a very mild so suitable for everyone, including kids.
And, as it turns out, they are straightforward to make yourself and taste even better when they’re homemade.
In fact, these Homemade Mozzarella Croquettes are by far the easiest we have ever done.

✅ Mozzarella – Grated Mozzarella is a great hack, no messing about tearing.
✅ Ceres Fishcake Mix – Consistency and speed, by utilising this cheat you are speeding up the process by 80% and boosting flavour by an immeasurable amount. Time after time, you will make consistent fishcakes.
✅ Eggs – Richness, Richness, Richness.
✅ Butter – This doesn’t need an explanation, butter is great in everything.
|Ingredients||Weight / Volume|
|Full Fat Milk||800ml|
|Ceres Fishcake Mix||500g|
|Panko Breadcrumb||As Needed|
|Eggs, beaten||4 and As Needed|
➡️ Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly until all the liquid and eggs are incorporated.
➡️ Portion up into 2oz balls and roll into croquettes.
➡️ Roll your croquettes in the flour, egg and panko.
➡️ Blanch for 30-60 seconds at 170°C.
➡️ Let them cool and freeze or refrigerate.
➡️ Fry on demand until core is above 70c
✅ Tip: Use a table-top fryer to keep the oil in your main frying range in better condition.
✅ Form them into round patties and increase the weight to 3oz if you’d like a slightly larger portion.
