CRISPY HOT WINGS

Nothing beats a portion of delicious hot wings with a side of punchy bacon & blue cheese sauce. Chicken wings are cheap, tasty and addictive, and you can serve them as a side or a profit-making meal deal.

With the Alpha Coater, this recipe couldn’t be any more straightforward. And, if you want more heat, you can simply add some extra hot sauce or cayenne to the mix, or toss your fried wings in some more hot sauce.

Chicken Wings2kg
Buttermilk300ml
Franks Hot Sauce100ml
Cayenne Chilli Powder20g
Alpha Coateras needed for marinade and coating
Liquid Oilas needed

METHOD

  • Mix the buttermilk, Frank’s Hot Sauce, cayenne chilli powder and 50g of Alpha Coater and add the chicken wings. Mix well and leave overnight in the fridge or at least for a minimum of two hours.
  • Drain the chicken wings and dredge in the Alpha Coater.
  • When you are ready to fry, preheat the fryer to 170°C.
  • Deep fry until above 75°C or until crisp, golden-brown and cooked.
  • Remove, drain and serve.
